What her position is responsible for:
My role is to oversee all aspects involving T2B, working closely with all the staff, donors and hospital to ensure that the core programs we operate are running efficiently and we are servicing our patients and their loved ones in highest regard. Additionally, I ensure that the charity is operating well administratively, as well as constantly developing new fundraising and marketing strategies for T2B.

Her favorite comfort/program that T2B provides:
T2B Comfort Cart. This program is great because we have that opportunity to brighten the day of a patient and their family members with comfort foods. It’s the small gestures that make such a positive impact.

Most of all, I love to talk about how our programs have benefited the community, how we can provide additional help, and how you can get involved with our charity in numerous ways (i.e. volunteering, hosting an event or attending our various fundraising events throughout the year). 

Why she works for T2B: 
T2B is truly my passion. While working in the corporate world for many years was wonderful, nothing is as rewarding as making a direct impact in her community when it is needed the most. It’s these small, positive gestures that go such a long way into brightening someone’s day when they are dealing with a life-altering illness. 

Linda Santos
Office Manager

What her position is responsible for:
I am responsible for organizing the administrative duties and ensure all aspects of the charity are running smoothly. I help to provide leadership and direction to the charity, and ensure it continues to grow through its communication channels, programming, volunteer base and community outreach. Furthermore, I assist with some fundraising aspects and continue to foster relationships with donors and sponsors.

Why she works for T2B:
Working for T2B is more than a job, it is a passion I have been a part of for many years. It’s so rewarding putting smiles on the faces of patients and their families who are impacted by a life-altering illness. I am so proud to be part of T2B, to be a part of a great team of ladies, to work with wonderful volunteers and donors because without them we could not do what we do everyday.

Program & Volunteer Manager

What her position is responsible for:
In my role, I am responsible for all aspects of T2B’s volunteers and comfort-based programs.

I am the liaison between T2B and our incredible partners at each hospital. You will never find me in the same place twice as I am always on the run, engaging with patients, healthcare professionals or our dedicated volunteers!

Whether I am counting inventory, interviewing new volunteers, or planning an event with our T2B Youth Ambassadors, my role is always on the GO!

Her favorite comfort/program that T2B provides:
My favourite program is the Dr. Michelle Prince Comfort Care Tote Program. When my mom was going through chemo, having those tangible items like a warm blanket, socks, soothing tea, and ginger chews made us feel so much more comfortable and prepared for the day ahead.

Why she works for T2B: 
I'm so passionate about the work T2B does. Whether you're supporting a loved one during treatment or saying goodbye, I know firsthand how uncomfortable a patient and their family can sometimes feel in healthcare settings. Overseeing the thoughtful programs we offer to provide comfort to patients and their families means the world to me, and I am so proud to be carrying out this mission with such an amazing team.

Sandra Presland
Marketing & Fundraising Manager

What her position is responsible for:
I help organize and plan our fundraisers, including our annual gala, third party events such as Cinco De Mayo and events hosted by our amazing youth ambassadors. I manage details such as; itineraries, booking live entertainment, contracting vendors and assist with setting up and teardown down each event. Additionally, I help with all of our social media, advertising, website updates and graphic design.

Why she works for T2B: 
I started with T2B as a volunteer on our Action Committee in January 2016 and it quickly became my passion. I saw first hand all of the people in our community that T2B supported and it became my mission to help as many people as I could. I love working events and helping my community and at T2B I can do both. Furthermore, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work alongside of. I truly love what I do!

What his position is responsible for:
In addition to handling social media, I also facilitate with graphic design, photography, and video needs.

His favorite comfort/program that T2B provides:
My favourite program is the Comfort Cart simply because its the small things that have a big impact. Giving a patient a treat from the cart or passing along a parking pass stays with them in an important and memorable way!

Why he works for T2B: 
"I have worked off and on with T2B for years, and have come to learn of all the amazing work they do in the community and inversely how much the community has come to support T2B. With that I am very proud to serve T2B and do what I can to contribute to this wonderful organization and the community as an Event and Marketing Coordinator.

Nicoleta Burlea
Finance Officer

What her position is responsible for:
I contribute to the well-being and management of the organization by providing specialist skills in accounts, payroll and financial reporting. I work with the office staff as well as the Board of Directors to compile an annual budget for the organization as a whole and for individual projects.
