The TLC Project is an initiative created by T2B to extend our Room Refurbishments Capital Campaign. This campaign is the heart of T2B, it was the very first project and thanks to our giving community, later turned into 17 comfort-based programs.

Tender Loving Comfort

One of the main visions of T2B is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and families. Within a T2B room, you will find warm colours, wood trimmings, specialty flooring, flat-screen TVs, fridges, complimentary TV service and special touches of home. All patient rooms on the Adult Oncology Unit, as well as the T2B Paediatric Oncology Satellite Unit, have been part of this project at Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus. In 2013, we were able to completely renovate the T2B Palliative Care Unit, Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Wing, at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare. Not only have T2B rooms been refurbished but our rooms also include lounge chairs, microwaves and mini-fridges.
