The T2B Paediatric Nutrition Room and Slushie Machine Program were established in 2007. This incredible program is located on the Paediatric Floor at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus.
T2B Youth Ambassador's Sofia Rosati and Zain Hunter host their own annual fundraisers to support these programs.
The funds Sofia raises support the T2B Nutrition Room - for this program, we stock the paediatric kitchenette shelves with snacks for patients and families to eat while receiving treatment or staying in the hospital overnight. Her program is also in honour of her friend, who lost his battle – Maiysn Spencer.
Zain Hunter, who generally holds a Slushie & Treat Fundraiser at his school annually, supports the T2B Slushie Machine. The Slushie Machine is located in the same kitchenette so that children and their families can have something refreshing after surgery or treatment.
