Transition to Betterness is proud and happy to announce that Madiha is our Volunteer of the Month for February!
Madiha volunteers her time with the Concierge Cart Program at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. She additionally volunteers extra each week as one of our Hospital Liasions. She checks inventory, organizes our supplies and acts as an extra liaison between the office and hospital programs. This is a tremendous help as our programs continue to grow every year!
Madiha joined us as an intern last January through the University of Windsor’s Volunteer Internship Program but decided to continue on in her role afterwards, having enjoyed it so much. We cannot believe an entire year has passed and we cannot imagine what we did without her! She has been a truly amazing volunteer. She takes a lot of pride and joy in the work she completes. Her greatest joy is making others happier and more while visiting them. She is constantly helping us fill in when there are open shifts and is always looking for new ways to improve our programs. Despite being in school with a full course load she still finds the time to dedicate to those we help in the community.
Madiha puts such an amazing effort into every act and we are truly honoured to call her a Transition to Betterness volunteer. You are truly a shining star Madiha!
