T2B hosts only a few signature events a year, such as our annual Gala, Besties and Bubbles, and Cinco de Mayo. Most T2B events are third-party events hosted by generous individuals and corporations.
Whether you're planning a fashion show, live concert, holiday party, or fitness activity, you can make a significant impact by donating ticket proceeds or simply having an exciting raffle!

The T2B Youth Ambassadors are a vibrant and innovative group of youth and young adults who are committed to providing comfort and joy to paediatric patients and their families who are facing life-altering illnesses.
Transition to Betterness (T2B) is a local charity and has had the opportunity to grow in Windsor-Essex County for over two decades with 20+ on-going programs that support patients and families in our local hospitals and healthcare facilities. With the help of our organization’s 300+ volunteers, we are able to provide these charitable services to our community daily. T2B receives no government funding and is supported by donations from generous donors and sponsors throughout the Windsor-Essex community. There are many ways to #GiveWhereYouLive, a few fundraising ideas are; corporate sponsorships, planned giving, hosting a third party event, memorials, wedding donations, youth or school fundraising initiatives and so much more. Programs
T2B operates 20+ on-going programs to help provide comfort and the much-needed bridge between hospital and home. Our unique services provide essential, tangible items and help reduce patient isolation. As a result, our programs and volunteers impact thousands of members within the community annually.
Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Volunteer opportunities include volunteering in the hospital, office volunteers, event volunteers, baking and decorating committees and so much more. Volunteer opportunities are available for all age groups, from retirees, international students or high school students.

The donation of these iPADs has been instrumental in connecting families with their loved ones during these difficult times. Particularly in a border city with the current international travel restrictions, the ability to have virtual face-to-face visiting with loved ones both in their final hours and while hospitalized has provided our patients and their families with some comfort and for that we are grateful. We’ve virtually connected family from the United States and for Europe with their loved ones; truly a gift. Thank you for everything that you do for us here at HDGH their families.

Gabriel and his family would end up using this very program to virtually visit with his Nonno for the last few weeks, before Nonno passed away in the hospital due to Parkinson's. This program had such an impact on him and his family that all funeral donations in Nonno's name, Frank Sementilli, were directed to the T2B – iPad Program.
