WINDSOR, ON - #T2BYouthAmbassadors hosted their first annual “Just Fore Kids” Mini Golf Tourney this past Sunday, August 7th, raising $10,300 for the Ronald McDonald House Windsor and T2B Paediatric Programs.
Over 120 participants enjoyed a fun-filled day at On The Water Miniature Golf Course, featuring 36 holes of mini golf, gifts for each golfer, treats, BBQ, after party, raffle, DJ, photo opps, prizes, games and much more!
The committee is comprised of youth aged 10-17 from all around Windsor and Essex County with a mission to help other kids in our community by hosting kid-friendly events. Proceeds from these events will support T2B’s commitment to the Ronald McDonald House Windsor and T2B Paediatric Programs within our local hospitals. We are so proud of these young individuals who spent many hours securing sponsors, prizing, generating tickets sales and handling the announcements throughout the event.
The T2B Youth Ambassadors would like to thank our partners in the Ronald McDonald House, RBC and RE/MAX Preferred Realty Brokerage Ltd. for their support. T2B Executive Director Amber Hunter said T2B’s goal was to gather a great group of young philanthropists who want to make a positive impact in our community.
“We at T2B are truly blown away at the T2B Youth Ambassadors’ commitment level and energy that they put into planning this event. We are having so much fun harnessing all of that positive energy and putting it into these great fundraising initiatives. These ambassadors are giving us some really fresh ideas on how to connect with and inspire youth in our local community while making a difference for other youth,” Hunter said.
