We are proud to announce that our Volunteer of the Month for May is Alexandra!
Alexandra volunteers for our Comfort Cart Program at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus. Even though Alexandra has only been with our organization since September 2017 she has made such a difference! Her kindness and compassion for the patients and families is limitless and we are honoured that she choses to be part of our organization. She strives to find ways to make those we service feel more than just a patient. She really tries to get to know each person individually and by doing so helps remind them that they are more than the illness they are fighting. Furthermore, she is there to help the families and friends from developing caregiver burnout. She offers relief and someone to talk to on the hardest of days.
Despite volunteering with other organizations and being a full-time nursing student she still makes the time for T2B each week.
We are blessed and thankful to have such amazingly compassionate individual choose to be part of our organization. Alexandra, we hope you are as proud of yourself as we are of you! Thank you for your support and care!
