Transition to Betterness is happy to introduce Lucella Derbyshire as our October Volunteer of the Month!
Lucella is a Concierge Program volunteer at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Met Campus. No matter what is going on in her life, she makes time to come into the hospital to volunteer for us! She loves to go around and visit with the patients and nothing makes her happier than when a patient is up for a longer visit where she can sit and keep them company. It can be tough caring for friends and families and sometimes the visitors forget to take a moment for themselves. A lot of the time Lucella offers the family members the opportunity to take a break while she keeps their loved one company. Often times she comes in early or stays past the end of her shift so that she can spend more time with everyone.
We are so proud that you are a part of our T2B family! You are the definition of caring and generosity!
