Transition to Betterness is happy to introduce Melissa Macksoud as our August Volunteer of the Month!
Melissa is such a positive presence to both the patients and families that T2B services through our Concierge Program at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Metropolitan Campus. Her smile is infectious and patients cannot help to smile back when she stops by to visit with them. While she hasn’t been with us a very long time she has definitely made a BIG impression! She is constantly going above and beyond and even will make fresh bake goods to hand out during her shift! How amazing is that?! No matter how busy she is Melissa still takes the time to volunteer with us and even helps fill extra shifts when other volunteers can’t make it! Life seems to be very hectic for everyone nowadays but by taking a few hours a week to give back she makes a huge impact.
She loves volunteering so much she has even recruited her friends to volunteer with the programs and events as well! She has said that she is proud to be a T2B volunteer but we are the ones who are both proud and grateful to have such an amazing individual be part of our organization!
We can't thank you enough for your efforts and being part of the T2B family. You inspire us and others with your kindness and generosity!
