Shelley Emery

Transition to Betterness is happy to introduce Shelley as our June Volunteer of the Month! 

Shelley takes great care and joy in helping our community as a T2B Volunteer. While she only joined us at the beginning of the year, the number of families she had helped is unbelievable! Shelley volunteers with our Concierge Program which focuses on providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families while they stay on the units we service. Concierge volunteers also offer items the patients may need during their hospital stay. Shelley makes sure everyone is set up and comfortable with whatever they may request and is always sure to anticipate their needs! The compassion and positivity she brings to each shift is phenomenal. She is truly a ray of sunshine.  When Shelley isn’t helping with the Concierge Program she is helping us fundraise for all of our programs as an event volunteer! She is constantly making herself available to help in whatever capacity we need. We are thankful that she is so generous with the time she dedicates to us!

We are so blessed to have such a caring, dedicated and kind individual as part of our organization. We are proud and lucky to be able to call Shelley a T2B Volunteer! Keep up the amazing work Shelley we are honoured to have you!
